Biography[]

As his name implies, the Bear Thief is an anthropomorphic bear. He wields a sword and has an insatiable taste for sea turtle. This leads to an encounter with Goku and Bulma early in their adventure, where the Bear Thief ambushes the two in an attempt to seize Turtle, who he intends to make a meal out of. Goku threatens the insistent Bear Thief to a fight as he is keeping the group from passing through, to which the beast refuses to back down. He is soon defeated by Goku's Rock, Scissors 'N' Paper technique.

Other appearances[]

The Bear Thief appears as a boss character in several Dragon Ball video game spin-offs, the majority of which are early releases. These titles are Dragon Power, Super Gokuden: Totsugeki-Hen and Advanced Adventure. He also appears as a common foe in The Legacy of Goku II. In addition, the Bear Thief makes his first playable video game appearance in Advanced Adventure.
