Android 23 is a villain in the Dragonball AF series. 23 is the leader of the Jin'en Gundan ("Army of Ash Flames") with the title of Tōshō ("Fighter General" or "Fighting General"). 23's schematics were based on that of Android 16's capabilities of ground combat. He is one of the four android creations of Dr. Vile. Android 23 bears many qualities unique to his android series, which spans between models 16 through 23. He is the second model of the series to be entirely synthetic. Having not been created from a human base might explain why Android 23 is the strongest of his series, as he has virtually no human attributes to hinder him (even 21 is quick to acknowledge that 23 is "fundamentally different from [him and 22]"). He is also the tallest android of both his series and the production line as a whole, towering at over double the height of Android 16, from whom he was based on.

Design

Like his siblings, his armor is based on that of his biological origin, Android 16, with thematic alterations. Fefnir's armor is colored red. In his Armed Resurrection form, 23's armor expands to become a large tank equipped with cannons and flamethrowers, all of which bear a distinct dragon motif, further emphasizing his mythological inspiration.
